The Legal Aid Society of Roanoke Valley

LASRV provides a full range of civil legal services to low-income residents in the Roanoke area, including housing issues, family, employment, consumer debt, and domestic violence. 

My work there focused on preventing homelessness. I regularly represented clients facing evictions from landlords. Whether it is a local slumlord, the public housing authority, or a large property manager, I ensured that my client's rights were given a strong voice. 

You can still find me there volunteering, teaching communities how to uphold their rights.
