It Takes a Village

In collaboration with the Roanoke Redevelopment and Housing Authority, we are implementing a two year program that is creating the foundation for regenerative culture at the headwaters of the Roanoke River. 

It Takes a Village is building community agriculture infrastructure with large gardens and fruit tree plantings. It is making composting accessable to Housing Authority residents. It is creating moments of engagement in our local ecology for youth.

Additionally, there are tutoring and arts programing for students. And for the young adults about to graduate high school, they can join a trade union programs to learn aboutn different careers and their training ooportunties.
